Refund Policy

Every portrait at Style My Screens is custom-created using your uploaded photo and selected theme. Because each artwork is personalised and made just for you, we generally cannot accept returns, cancellations, or refunds once your portrait has been created or your physical print has entered production.

However, if something is damaged, defective, missing, technically incorrect, or not delivered as expected, please contact us and we will do our best to help.


1. Digital Portraits

Digital Delivery

Digital portraits are custom-created based on your uploaded photo, selected theme, and preview shown before checkout. Because you are able to preview your portrait before placing your order, all digital portrait sales are final.

Your final digital portrait will be based on the preview shown before checkout, with the watermark removed where applicable.

Digital portraits are usually delivered within 15–30 minutes after purchase. During busy periods, or if final artwork preparation takes longer than usual, please allow up to 1 business day.

No Cancellations, Refunds, or Change Requests for Digital Orders

Once your order is placed, digital portraits cannot be cancelled, changed, returned, or refunded. Please review your preview carefully before completing your order.

Technical Problems With Digital Files

If your delivered digital portrait has a clear technical issue, such as a missing file, corrupted file, download problem, or the wrong file being delivered, please contact us within 14 days of purchase.

Where appropriate, we may resend the correct file or provide technical support. This does not include refunds, cancellations, or artistic preference changes after purchase.


2. Physical Portraits: Posters & Canvas Prints

Change Requests for Physical Orders

We do not offer order cancellations. However, for physical portrait orders, you may request a change within 3 hours of placing your order.

After 3 hours, your order may be prepared for production and can no longer be changed, cancelled, or refunded.

To request a change, please contact us as soon as possible at support@stylemyscreens.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • The same photo you originally uploaded
  • A clear description of what you would like us to adjust

We will do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee that changes can be made after your order has started processing.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Physical Items

If your poster or canvas arrives damaged, defective, incorrectly printed, or different from the product you ordered, please email us within 14 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the damaged, defective, or incorrect item
  • Clear photos of the packaging, if the item was damaged during shipping

After reviewing the issue, we may offer a replacement, reprint, refund, or another suitable solution where appropriate. This applies only to issues caused by a production, printing, fulfillment, or shipping problem, such as a damaged item, defective item, misprint, or incorrect item.

We cannot offer a replacement, reprint, or refund if the issue is caused by the uploaded photo quality, customer-provided information, personal preference, change of mind, or if the final printed item matches the approved artwork and order details.

You do not need to ship the damaged item back to us unless we specifically request it.

Lost or Missing Packages

If your physical portrait does not arrive, please first check the tracking link provided by email.

If your package appears to be lost, missing, or has not arrived after the estimated delivery window, please contact us at support@stylemyscreens.com with your order number and tracking information.

We will review the order status and work with our fulfillment partner or the shipping carrier to help resolve the issue. If the package is confirmed lost or missing, we may send a replacement or issue a refund for the physical print portion of the order where appropriate.

Refund Amount for Physical Portraits

All physical portrait orders include a custom digital portrait. The digital portrait portion is non-refundable once it has been created or delivered.

If a refund is approved for a poster or canvas order, the refund will apply only to the physical print portion of the order. The digital portrait value will be deducted from the refund amount.


3. What We Cannot Refund

We are unable to offer refunds in these situations:

  • You change your mind after the portrait has been created
  • You decide you no longer want the portrait
  • You did not review the preview carefully before placing your order
  • The artistic style matches the selected theme but is not to your personal taste
  • The final artwork is based on the preview shown before checkout
  • You submitted a blurry, low-quality, dark, unclear, heavily filtered, or unsuitable photo and the final result reflects the uploaded photo quality
  • Digital portraits that have already been purchased, created, or delivered
  • Digital portrait change requests after purchase
  • Physical orders that have already entered production
  • An incorrect or incomplete shipping address was provided at checkout
  • Delivery delays caused by the carrier, customs, weather, holidays, failed delivery attempts, or circumstances outside our control
  • Issues reported more than 14 days after delivery for physical products

Please double-check your photo, preview, selected format, email address, shipping address, and contact details before placing your order.


4. Photo Quality Notice

Our portraits depend heavily on the quality of the photo you upload. Clear, high-resolution, well-lit, front-facing photos usually create the best results.

If you upload a blurry, low-resolution, dark, heavily filtered, unclear, or unsuitable photo, the final portrait may reflect those limitations.

We may improve lighting, colour, sharpness, and overall presentation where possible, but we cannot guarantee that every low-quality photo can be transformed into a high-quality result.

Because your artwork and physical print are created from the photo you provide, we cannot offer refunds, returns, replacements, or reprints if the final result is affected by a blurry, low-resolution, dark, heavily filtered, unclear, cropped, or unsuitable uploaded photo.


5. How Refunds Work

If a refund is approved:

  • The refund will be sent back to your original payment method
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for processing
  • Your bank or payment provider may need additional time to display the refund
  • For physical portrait refunds, the non-refundable digital portrait value will be deducted from the refund amount

If you do not see your refund after 15 business days, please contact us.
